Do you have “Contact” or an “Enquiry” form on your website? If you do, make sure that you have a field for the “Phone Number”. Most people forget this field and end up playing “Email Tag” with potential customers whereas if they could call them back if would be much more effective.

Does your website have a Newsletter? Well if you didn’t you can start one now with the contact or the enquiry form you just made (see above). Just make sure that your form has a disclaimer to outline that.

If you do any type of broadcasts, such as email newsletters you can literally DOUBLE your results. The easiest way to get more work is from your past customers and the key is interaction. Try to regularly communicate with your customers and prospects. A great way to automate this is to use a tool called Aweber or Mailchimp. In fact we are using Aweber right now to deliver this message to you.

Headlines

What is the first thing that you read when you open newspaper? It’s the headline, right? If you website does not have a clear headline then most people are not sure what its all about. A headline should have a solution for the problem that your website visitors are looking to solve. For example, a plumber might have “Emergency Plumber Available 24/7? ABC Plumbing Services Brisbane Metro Area”.

When you are looking at headlines, try to be specific to the services that people are looking for and include things that people can relate to (eg. location, issue etc).
